Eight Steps to Laying Ceramic Tiles
For some projects around the house it’s a lot more cost efficient if you can complete the job on your own often saving more then double what you spent which is an enormous amount. When talking about laying tiles it’s rather simple yet labor costs a lot and you’ll pay 2-3 times as much in labor costs as you do for the actual ceramic tiles. It’s not an exact science either and if you follow these eight steps then you should be well on your way to laying your first ceramic tile floor.

1. Determine the layout of how the tiles will all be set-up.
2. Apply the adhesive.
3. Lay the tiles down as you planned in the layout.
4. Remove the spacers.
5. Let the adhesive set in overnight and typically for 24 hours.
6. Cut the tiles.
7. Apply the grout.
8. Seal the grout.
Although I haven’t gone into much detail you can see the eight simple steps to laying down ceramic tiles. Now if after reading these tips you feel you can lay down your own ceramic tiles and save yourself a bundle of money then you should visit RONA for the complete detailed guide to the eight steps.
